Maxout! is a series of methodic rituals to reach a perfect score (999,999,999 points) in Tetris for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), otherwise known as a maxout. A maxout refers to the point at which the game card stops keeping score.

Using the Delayed Auto Shift (DAS) play style—which is a more outdated technique to play the game, however more accessible than other play styles—I will attempt to get my first maxout and document the process. Each play session is recorded via a capture card and uploaded to YouTube with the highest score of the run in the title.

Because I am playing on a 35-year gaming console and cartridge, glitches crashes, and anomalies periodically occur.
